International students pursuing a full-time program of more than one-year duration are allowed to sign up for part-time employment opportunities in the UAE after the completion of the first year of studies. However, they need a work permit from the Ministry of Human Resource and Emiratization (MoHRE). To get a work permit, you have to get an authorization letter issued by your university for on or off-campus part-time employment. In this authorization letter, when submitted to the MoHRE office, a work permit is issued after cross-checking all other eligibility requirements.
Once you have the work permit, you can work on campus or off it for a certain number of hours.
On campus, the jobs that you may take up are teaching assistantship, library assistantship, student ambassadors, receptionists, baristas, and so on. Please note that for on-campus jobs, you need to maintain a program GPA of 2.2 at least.

Climate / Weather:
Experience an arid desert climate in the UAE, characterized by extreme weather conditions. April to September is summer with very dry, hot and humid and average temperatures between 35 and 45 °C. Visa Guidance to Study in the UAE
International students need a Student Visa to study abroad in UAE. Their visa has to be either sponsored by a person of relation who is a resident of the country or backed by an accredited Emirati higher education institution where they have enrolled. The respective Student affairs offices at the universities facilitate the process of visa application on behalf of the students.
Once accepted into an accredited UAE higher education institution, your school takes the onus of getting your Student Visa from the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA). However, the school can start the visa processing once you arrive in the country with an Entry Permit, also processed by the host school.
A student visa is issued for a year at a time, and is renewed annually with an express recommendation from the institution where the student is studying.
